MoonStar's Death

‘‘Let’s end this then!’’ He shouted at his opponent.

Sightless made a devilish grin and glared his eyes at MoonStar. ‘‘Thought you’d never ask.’’ He murmured. Then, he suddenly jumped into the air and made a wave of wind, blinding MoonStar once again, but this time, he closed his eyes and let the sound carry where Sightless was. As a result, he knew where his opponent would attack. MoonStar quickly dodged the attack and swung his tail to blow away the dust. Surprised, Sightless passed as a shadow next to MoonStar and grabbed him in the ribs. MoonStar shouted in agony, and fell on the ground, before he pulled himself free from Sightless’s jaw. The dark fox went for MoonStar’s throat, but he quickly moves himself on his left side, escaping from being chocked. He then tilts his forepaws onto his right, pulling himself up, and ran towards Sightless, combating blood verses blood.

After many minutes passed, MoonStar finally falls down to the ground, bleeding. He looked at his mate and his pup for the last time, and slightly crawled to her and whispered his words.

‘‘Get her away from here… take our pup and save yourselves, I still got some more in me…’’.

Horrified, his mate ran with his pup and disappeared, with the pack trying to follow them.

MoonStar finally distracted Sightless so that everyone could escape before he died.

‘‘I still got some more in me.’’ MoonStar spat at the fox, with his mouth full of blood.

Sightless glared his amber-ish red eyes at him and showed his sharp fangs back at him.

‘‘Your sacrifice will be worth nothing!’’ He shouted, ‘‘I will fight until the end, as a true leader!’’ MoonStar spat back.

‘‘You fool!’’ Screamed Sightless.

‘‘I won’t let you destroy more lives.’’ MoonStar growled out, while advancing towards his opponent in a circle.

Sightless twitched his ears and hissed with a cold tone while advancing towards MoonStar, ‘‘the dark forest is a magnificent place to fight, isn’t it?’’ He asked.

MoonStar continued walking around Sightless slowly while glaring.

 ‘‘… I will destroy you!’’ He spat.

The dark fox’s eyes suddenly changed color. They became bloody red, and his fangs grew just as long as MoonStar’s. Surprised, MoonStar backed away slowly, with disbelief in his eyes.

‘’H-how did you-- are you half blood or something?! How is this even possible?’’ He shouted out, while being puzzled.

The dark fox didn’t answer; he stayed at his position while staying still. MoonStar blinked out of stress.

‘‘Answer me!’’ He ordered.

Sightless’s eyes glowed. ‘‘I guess you didn’t know then, MoonStar, but, soon, you’ll be in that so-called Sky-pack.’’

MoonStar snarled and fixed Sightless in the eyes, while growling. ‘‘I will destroy you no matter what it takes, you cannot continue being like this!’’ He snapped.
